As soon as Charlie returns home from his short trip to Boston (for he and Ava's anniversary, and the unplanned reunion that ended in disaster), he and Maggie will get very sick. The supernatural virus coming to TJS will be introduced at Maggie's school in the San Francisco area (and other super locations along the west coast) before it's introduced along the east coast. What's this mean for you? Well, anyone wanting to bitch at Charlie about Ava's crash won't be able to. He's going to be sicker than he's ever been in his life, and his family is freaking out that he and Maggie are sick, especially since they didn't think it was possible for Charlie to get sick.
Don't worry, they'll survive, and they will eventually be involved in the virus plot as it reaches TJS. Stay tuned for that!
