So I figured some advance warning might be pertinent, since I might disappear off the face of the earth...
Finals this semester run August 15th through the 18th. I'll be incommunicado up until Thursday morning. Annnnnd.... having officially finished half of my academic veterinary career, and being unable to celebrate my birthday BECAUSE it's during finals.... I'm going to Africa.
Ha, it's not just because of that, but it sounds good!
It's a two week course as an introduction to wildlife medicine, and I've always intended to work with wildlife so I'm treating this as field experience. Anyway. I don't know what my internet state will be while I'm there (it depends on how much it costs per night), but that will run from the 19th until I'm back on civilized soil on the 4th or so. And then classes start on the 5th again.
And no, I cannot sneak back a baby rhino/cheetah/impala in my suitcase for you. ;D
