So I am stepping down from my management position at work and going back to being on the phones. This was a decision I made mostly due to the insane level of stress my job causes and how much of my time and creativity it has been eating away. Saturday is my last day then I go back to NO RESPONSIBILITIES. This is great because maybe, just maybe, I will have time to rp again and actually feel like doing it since that has been the main issue as of late.
So look for me to become more active soon! I am very excited about this change and definitely looking forward to taking a break from all the strain.

On Saturday night, Lyle Majors is walking to Peyton's room. Completely naked. Carrying a pint of ice cream. Written on his chest in marker is it says "Peyton Billings is my girlfriend". He's grinning.

So here's something I've been toying with for awhile, wanted to get some feedback. There is a website called Postsecret.com that, if you don't know about, you should. It is an ongoing art project where people mail their secrets anonymously on postcards, and every week the moderator Frank Warren posts new ones on the website.
Anyway. Everyone likes to do memes about their characters (you know you do!), so I was thinking it would be hella fun if we did something like that here. You create a postcard for your character (it can be anything you want, even a simple scribble on a piece of paper) and post them in a thread. All anonymous, of course. I mean you can post under one of your chars journals, just don't say who the secret is for. If you only have one characters, we'll all feign ignorance. ;) They can be silly secrets, serious, sexual, dangerous, whatever you like! Just another way to tap into the psyche of our kids. ^_^
Few questions for you guys. One, is this something we should do IN game or out of character? Two, is this something you guys would be interested in?

Okay! It seems people are interested, so we're getting this shindig up and running! Here's how it's gonna be:
-Secrets are for characters only (sorry players). One secret per character! (We may do this again sometime!)
-It can be ANY kind of secret- dark, funny, silly, sexy, shocking, stupid, obvious... whatever your character would write!
-Secrets must be anonymous. Don't put the character's name or face on the secret. How are we supposed to guess who wrote it if you outright tell us? ^_^
-Post your secret as a comment here. All comments will be screened so no one even knows who posted the secret. You can either post the image in the comment (please don't make them too big) or post the link to it. I'll move it to the secrets thread.
-You can make a "postcard", simply write the secret in a comment, or comission someone to make you something! I'm willing to help, and Maren is usually good for Photoshop work. (Of course this kind of ruins the suprise element, but we'll feign ignorance!)
Most importantly, have fun! Here's a sample postcard direct from Postsecret so for those who aren't sure what to do, you have a starting point.
