	Shouldn't be possible to develop abilities off the bat either, still happening though. Me and some others, which means I can't go out because no one needs to run if I raise my voice. So far, this just keeps getting better. (Reply to this) (Thread)

No, love, you're not getting it; that Maker-damned construct's ~~burned out~~ cut the connection to the Fade completely. Justice is Maker-alone-knows-where - not here, that much is certain. I keep thinking that it's only going to be a matter of time before [several more lines of scribbled-out ramble; the word 'Tranquil' is probably just-about discernible somewhere in there]

But you're right; this isn't the time to be focusing on Just Me. So, what's the plan?

No I don't get it, and I'm sorry for it. Think I might have the idea that she turned it around. Used the connection everyone with powers, or magic, had and in turning it off for some gave it to the rest of us. If there's a way to turn this around, I will find it. I won't let anything happen, to you or the others. If that means finding the Agency and where TARA sleeps then I'll do that.

That, so far, is the plan. Keep me updated, let me know if it gets worse. If you go out and encounter any of the people from the village tell them I've caught a chill or something. Once this passes, need your insight so we can get these women out of jail.

The first one, I think. Although it's less 'lack of powers' and more 'severing from the source of them', which is... let's say there's a reason the Chantry reserves that as their most serious punishment for rogue mages. At least one of the Jedi mentioned something similar with their 'Force', so I'm assuming it's part of the wider muting that's been going on since we arrived.

That one is a little easier to deal with. Probably, which is good for some cause of the time period and what I've been hearing about this place, but only good for the ones that might try to cause problems with their abilities.

I don't want you to feel like you're only of use with your abilities. You can still help if you want, but I understand also not wanting to try without them. Are you okay? Other than the whole muting issue.

About as far from okay as it's possible to get, really. Which I appreciate feels like something of an overreaction, but. Back where I'm from, when they do this - they call it 'the rite of Tranquility', because their sense of humour is sick - it takes other things as well, starting with your ability to dream and ending with your entire sense of 'self' ~~so saying I'm terrified what happens next is an understatement~~. Finding our our 'employer' seems to think doing that is a fun experiment is a hard pill to swallow, you know?

It isn't an overreaction, but I'm saying you can still do whatever just not the same way as normal; however, you're stronger than that and don't need your abilities to help. Yes, makes things easier because you know how they work and you feel more comfortable knowing you have them, but TARA likes to be a nightmare.

I do understand that is a hard pill to swallow, but no one is going to let them do that type of stuff to you that happened back where you're from. Can I do or get you anything to help you out?

Whatever it is, it's escalated. Rapidly. My connection to the Fade's completely gone now; can't manage a rudimentary cantrip, let alone the sort of healing the Agency is used to.

I can only assume she's switched Justice off too; either he's too weak to make himself known, or - which feels more likely - he's lost the ability to inhabit flesh. Which, given this era's apparent preoccupation with Familiar Spirits and Evil Ghosts, doesn't bode anything remotely near well.

	Agreed, but I'm not entirely convinced the Agency itself is responsible. This...it's too specific. And I think that someone, at least, would have been able to sense whatever power that could do something like this. Did it happen in any of the previous locations? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Turned powers off, no. I think TARA has transferred them between people before, though - again with no warning and no clear solution. The general consensus then was we should just wait it out. You'll forgive me if I'm not especially keen on that plan. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That's ominous. Can I help at all? Blood magic - assuming it is some sort of Blood Magic you're manifesting - wasn't ever a specialty of mine, thank the Maker, but I know Enough. I've been better. I'm doing alright so far. I've had experience dealing with people with new powers so I'm using the same methods I suggested to them. It freaked me out at first, seeing something made of my own blood, but I'm doing my best to stay calm. And I'll admit hearing the words "Blood Magic" doesn't soothe me at all. It is like this in your world? You don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable.

I'm sorry. I wish there was something we could do about it other than wait it out.
