Something weird is going on with me and with this talk of new abilities, I have a bad feeling it's that crap. How long does this usually last?

Cause I think I'm staying away from people until this passes, especially cause I don't even know how to control what's going on.

I'm afraid I have no answer to the first question.

However, I am happy to offer my help in controlling these abilities. I am currently having issues with my own. But, I am very experienced in helping those with powers learn control.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't really want to put people at risk. Guilt can be a strong emotion if you have it, and not chancing having someone do anything because I can't control it.

Shutting yourself off from people won't help. It will only make things worse. And, we don't know how long this will last.

It will help them, and I'm quite skilled at distancing myself from people when I need to. How will it make things worse? No one will have to deal with guilt or be forced into having that feeling built on, which in my mind is a big win for most people.

Although, that is entirely a situation I have thought of too. I just think it prudent not to discuss such things where she can very obviously read everything we're saying.

I'm aware of how things can go wrong with people's powers.

That makes two of us. From what I can tell, I can impact guilt that a person has even if it's hidden really deep down. I did it by accident to some guy...and yeah, I don't want this.

Staying away from people is something I'm quite good at or I was before Mack, Addy, and Doc found me. And it's only until this passes.

It was always just me and my pa, and there wasn't much else to do except get used to each other's silence. And he was gone by the time I ran into you guys. I do well with some sign language and some hooch though.

When will that be? Can't just hide either.

Still, you're not the biggest people person; however, I'll admit you've gotten better. Even more so when you get alcohol or decent food after not having much around you.

I don't know, I haven't been around long enough to pay attention to how long things last. I can hide for a bit, it's safer for people. Everyone has some type of guilt, and I'm not going to be the reason someone has to face their guilt or has it build because of whatever it's that I have.

I've met enough people to know where I could go to if our apocalypse ever ends. The Native American group were nice, living off their ancestral lands and everything.

If the apocalypse ever ends, you'll have a lot of choices on places you can go see. Not like it matters in the end for me.

And how would you feel 10k if I somehow made the guilt you feel towards certain things get stronger than it is?

Yeah, which is stupid, especially since I said I don't even know how to control this ability or what makes it happen. You're one of the main ones I don't want to have this ability impacting, I wouldn't be able to deal with myself if I made you feel guiltier than you already do about anything.
