About Tahiri.

Jacen has demanded [That word might be far more applicable to Darth Caedus rather than Jacen. Just try go with it, because I'm getting moodier the more I think about this situation at large.] I not tell Anakin about Tahiri's future exploits. He fears it'll drive a wedge between him and Anakin, and destroy their relationship.

On the other hand, he did peer into Fitz' mind, and obviously is aware of what his future self has done [Or will, in the eventuality that he ever get sent back home]. And now he's trying make me the bad guy for wanting to bring to light the path Tahiri followed.

In other words, rock, meet hard place. Is it bad that I just want that rock to hit me in the head?

I love Jacen, but that kind of makes me want to punch him. It's not fair for him to ask you to keep that secret. It's not fair to you or to me, since I know, too or to Anakin and Tahiri.

I feel like we should give them a beat to be happy, but I also don't like keeping secrets from my friends. I sat on Jacen going dark side for, I don't know, a lot longer than I wanted to and I hated it. I think Anakin deserves better than that.

Or at least, he deserves to make the choice himself on whether he wants to know. So does Tahiri. This is her future we're talking about, right? Maybe it should be up to her if she wants to know.

I was uncomfortable enough keeping my silence while she got here the first, let alone the second. Because it is inching closer and closer.

Kriff, why does everybody think I was going to jump it on them? Of course I was going to give them time, as much time as possible. This isn't for my pleasure. But the air between should've been cleared a while ago, and I don't like the idea of Jacen keeping his own brother in the dark. Again, if I may add.

Her future, yes. And not from some erased timeline, as Jacen seems to think. We are all going back to our respective places in time when our time with the Agency's done, and I think Tahiri's return is a perfect example of it, for most individuals, anyway. Logic would've demanded that she stay in Anakin's timeline, since she was there when the timeline was diverted and Anakin was saved, but she still went back to the timeline that I am familiar with, and logic dictates that everything will play out as I've experienced it to be.

Not that I want Anakin to be dead, let's make that clear. But frankly, he has been for most my life, and I'm still getting used to him being flesh and blood, as opposed to this intangible person that was brought up every now and then. And unlike Jacen seems so intent on believing, I am not looking to replace Jacen as his brother - which, I can't even begin to [...] understand him there. And to top it off, he thinks that I want to 'win' this, whatever that means. I'm perfectly content to come out on the losing side. It's pretty much my life story.

I wasn't suggesting you were planning to just throw it on them now. As far as I know, you're not an insensitive dick, but I know that's a fuzzy line between not fucking up their happiness and not wanting to keep secrets from people you care about. I don't even know if there's a right answer to that.

Believe it or not, I get what you mean. It has to be weird for you to see him so grown up when he never was for you. You were a baby when he died, right? You never got the chance to know him? I can only imagine how weird this must all be for you. And how hard it must be to know everything you know about the future and have to figure out what to share and what to keep to yourself. It's a fucking crappy position to be in. Any idiot could see that.

He should here it from Jacen, but I doubt that's going to happen and I don't think you're the bad guy for refusing to keep it from Anakin. I know you only want to do what's right. Maybe that doesn't mean a lot, but you've got me in your corner, whatever that's worth.

Does this world even drink? The word puritan doesn't sound much like excess, let alone alcohol-infused haziness.

Although it's sometimes it's easier said than done, I do try not to be a massive dick. Thank you for noticing, even if I feel like one every tome Jacen talks down to me.

I've been aboard the Anakin Solo, but that doesn't count. During a mission, I met a droid with a copy of Anakin's consciousness. He ended up destroying himself, to do the right thing. [...] But Anakin, in the flesh? No. But then he got old. That's good. Quick? But good? There's two timelines in my head. It gets confusing.

I tried to tell him that. I even offered up an ultimatum, he or me. But then he got all smug.

Am I doing the right hing?

Sure they do. I mean, even if the high and mightys don't or don't want to admit it, there'll be booze around somewhere. The more taboo something is, the more determined people are to have it. I bet we can find some good stuff.

I don't know if it's the right thing or not, not for sure, but it doesn't feel right to sit on this and not at least offer to tell them. Maybe start with Tahiri, ask her if she wants to know her future. If she doesn't, maybe it wouldn't be fair to make Anakin keep this from her, too, but if she does want to know, then I think telling them is the right thing to do, even if it's going to piss Jacen off.
