Grant. Almost any way this conversation goes, it ends with me telling you about your future. And once you know things, you can't unknow them. You shouldn't have that burden on your shoulders.

Look, all that matters, the only thing that matters to me here and now, is her. I can't believe for a second that ever changed.

So if it'll hurt her, if what happens will make things bad between you and her, then I'll stop asking.
