Game Update and Freeze!
As of right now (July 18th, 2022), the game is on freeze for a moment. You are all great players, but I am having some trouble on a modding end with the concept and realize that some players might be having trouble finding a way to play in this world as well.

So, time to brainstorm. I have a couple of ideas of what to do, but I want to hear from you all. Would you be terribly upset if the game shut down and started fresh? Does anyone have another idea? The French Revolution plot had some backbone, but I noticed no one had any initial posts on it other than my guys and I realized that maybe it was too vague?

	I had no issues at all with the plot. I just have been sick so didn’t really have a chance to do much with it. If you want to start fresh with a new concept/setting, tho I do have a pretty much ready to go game/GPSL concept than I could turn over to you if you want since I know I won’t have time to really do anything with it in the near future. The basic premise was this...

You're going through your normal life (or maybe it's your afterlife) when you walk through a door only to find yourself standing in a village. Where and when is it? No one seems to have an answer. It's always just been known very simply as The Village for as long as anyone can remember. Strange occurrences are commonplace here and even stranger is the fact that you can never guarantee when opening a door just where you'll end up. On some kind of adventure, probably. Not everyone is able to use the doorways in this way, but for those known as travelers (yep, that's you!) sometimes a door isn't just a door. You could end up outside your flat or in Narnia or in space somewhere... Portes is a pan-fandom GPSL with the potential of travel to many different "worlds."

	Definitely no plans on going anywhere! Just been a bit sluggish recently. And I understand the sentiment on not wanting too many cooks in the kitchen, but this could be a nice collaborative process where if there’s anything someone would like to see from the game (or a game), it can be brought up here! RL stuff has just gotten in the way with my surgery and stuff but I am recovering. I do like the lax activity and non stressful environment. I like world building and character plotting and development— so anything that supports that, and maybe a healthy mix of network comm instead of heavy influence with it I would be interested in :)

Sorry I have no fresh ideas it’s Monday and work is destroying me I’ll try to think of something when I get home

	I am open to hearing about a new premise. I know I haven’t been able to give my characters and the game the attention they deserves lately, so I can also bow out and open up my spot to writers who can. (Reply to this)

Adding as a suggestion maybe allowing players the option to reboot and start fresh or maybe letting some retain memories for those who might have some connections or interactions they’d prefer not to lose. If you didn’t want everyone to remember Cardiff, you could cap at X characters for each player or x% of each players roster.

I know you are learning to a space theme, so we could just toss our crew into some kind of war or epic conflict that they just get caught in the middle of. Maybe the accidentally piss off some alien race that now wants to make their lives hell? Something a la John’s arrival and accident with Crais’ brother but just maybe on a larger scale.

Or even something as simple as a group of people who does not like these random displaced people showing up and wants to get rid of them, collects a following and comes at them lol, but I think having them caught in the middle of an already ongoing conflict (the Peacekeeper/Scarran Wars but not IDK) could be interesting. Like do they pick a side? Which one? Or do they try to stay out of it but keep getting pulled in???

If you made some stuff puncturable maybe these warring races or factions or whatever get ahold of some source materials and come after them for help (willing or not!) after finding out what they can do?
