Surprise, Nat & Steve, it’s a boy!

This is James Rogers, from Marvel’s Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow. James comes from a post apocalyptic timeline where the Avengers lose against Ultron, most of them die and their kids - yep they have kids in this timeline - are taken by Tony Stark to his arctic fortress where he raises them in relative solitude and trains them to one day face and defeat Ultron.

Spoiler alert: James messed up, Ultron found them and chaos and I ensued. The kids eventually beat Ultron (with some help!) and they’ve been traveling the world since, fighting the remaining bits and trying to help rebuild things in general. James will be glad to see Torunn but he will have mixed feelings about being here. He’ll like a chance to get to know these versions of his parents, but he also feels the responsibility to be back home doing that hero shit.

Natasha is not really herself right now, so there are bound to be two different reactions for poor James. I promise, the real Nat will be confused about the situation (because she is having trouble contemplating having a kid with Steve- no offense, Steve!), but she will also kind of love the idea of having a son.

At the same time, there's gonna be conflict. So let's just enjoy the drama together.

The Doctor will love him! Because she's protective of broken children.

Harry will probably befriend him quickly over trauma.

Enojlras doesn't care because he's too wrapped up in the confusion of this world right now. Sorry!
