Who: Bastian and Rorie
What: Rorie's got new fangs and is very hungry
Where: Campus
When: After the spell takes effect
Rorie had been at the Cinco de Mayo party and was trying enjoy himself as much as possible. He was going to turn into a lemur this weekend. It blew his mind! Of course after the first beer came the second then the third and so on till he didn't really car. Lemur or moving things with his mind didn't bother him an iota. Then about ten thirty was when he felt a jolt. It was like getting shocked.
It was a blur for a moment as clarity hit him and everything could be realized. He could remember! Yes! He wanted to jump for joy and go find Garret to tell him and yell at him, but that wasn't the point. He was back to himself again. Almost. He felt different. It started as a slow knot in his stomach, like he was hungry. He shrugged it off as he took off to find Garret. It kept getting bigger though. Almost to a point where he felt like he hadn't eaten in days. Seeing a familiar face made him feel better a bit. Stomach cramps, making hims stumble as his gums ached, he groaned.
"Bastian," Rorie grimaced as he stumbled towards the other.
Bastian was out enjoying the party, sipping on a beer and just having fun. It'd been awhile since he'd been out, so he was dancing it up with Estrella, chatting to a few friends. He felt a clenching in his stomach as the night wore on, but it wasn't too bad. Especially not since he stumbled across someone who looked worse off. "Rorie?" Concerned, he rushed over, wrapping his arms around the man to support him. "What's wrong?"
"I-I don't know," Rorie said as he leaned against Bastian. "It hurts. Fuck, my mouth hurts." Whimpering he buried his face in Bastian's neck trying not to cry as he felt his teeth shifting and. . . Growing? "Stomach hurts. So fuckin' bad. Like the worst hunger pains and I'm. . ." He paused a moment, trying to breath as everything felt off kilter. "Hungry."
"Mouth hurts?" That was an odd thing to say, but Bastian understood hungry. "Alright. Let's get you something to eat. C'mon babe." Gingerly, he started leading Rorie to the buffet table, hoping to find something gentle on the mouth, but filling for the stomach.
His eyes had been clenched shut and Rorie was focusing on that beating sound. It was steady and sounded good. Like it would make things better if he just listened to it. "Hungry. . ." He moaned as he opened his eyes and his mouth was so close to Bastian's neck. Something just wanted him to bite him, hard enough to cause bleeding. That thought set it all off. "I'm just. . . . So fuckin' hungry," he groaned before he opened his mouth wide and bit down hard on Bastian's neck. It was soft and tender, like a good rare steak. His hands immediately went to grabbing onto Bastian and trying to drag him away as he kept his hold on his neck while drinking the blood that came out of the wound.
He couldn't stop. The ache was there still and the blood was helping. It was like water roaring in his ears as he kept drinking, gorging himself even. It was sloppy as he let go a moment to lick his lips and bit again.
Bastian stopped moving when he realized Rorie wasn't walking with him. He held him close, rubbing his back to soothe, but that wasn't what happened. The moment he was bit, Bastian cried out, trying to push Rorie away. "Rorie," he threw out. "Stop." Already he could feel himself losing strength and that knot in his stomach tightened further.
Rorie couldn't hear Bastian telling him to stop. He was too busy trying to lick all the blood that had come out of the older man. Biting him on his shoulder, he found another tender spot and just tried to drink as much as possible while his hands dug into Bastian's body to keep him there with him.
Three sets of punctures. Bastian could feel each of them burning with a fire. They hurt. He opened his mouth, gasping for air. Something wanted to come out. A cry, a demand for help. A wail. Part of a sharp cry exited his throat but it was cut off by a breath before it got too intense. Still, Rorie didn't move. Bastian felt his legs weaken further, no longer able to support himself. Opening his mouth again, he cried out in a way that rivaled a banshee.
Rorie knew he had to stop or he'd kill Bastian, but he couldn't. It was just too good and he wanted more and more. He kept drinking till Bastian let out that scream. Covering his ears and letting go of the other man, Rorie cried out in pain before backing away. After a moment, he slowly looked over at Bastian. "Oh. . . Oh God," he said, staring at the mess. "I'm sorry. . . I'm-I'm. . ." Rorie heard people rushing over and he did the only thing he could think of. He ran. Fast as he could away from Bastian.
Bastian collapsed onto the ground, feeling his vision wink in and out. He tried to call up the power for a healing spell but it was gone. He couldn't feel it. Gone. Someone called for a healer and told him to stay awake. Just before he passed out.
