Who: Lil Adam and Trever
What: Brothers fighting
Where: Their apartment
When: Afternoon
Adam was having a better Wednesday than he had in a while. The frustration of everything a lot less than Sunday. Granted, he'd done another drastic measure of taking the scissors and cutting the outside of his thigh again, but it was cleaned and bandaged. He couldn't smell it at all, so he left it alone. So, to occupy his free time because he didn't feel like going out in the cold, he pulled out some kinnects that he'd gotten with his allowance. It was cooler than puzzles and whenever he got just fed up, he'd bust them out instead of freaking out. He'd have his moments back home, where he just got really angry, but nothing like now.
So, he went back to an old method and combined with his new and probably not as healthy method.
[15:06] Sam Winchester: Trevor walked out of his room, bored of his laptop and overdosed on videogames. He saw his brother using his kinnects and smiled slightly, Trevor remembered him using them a lot before but he hadn’t seen them at all until now.
He walked into the kitchen and grabbed a pop and came back out, watching Adam for a minute. “I didn’t even know you still had those.” Trevor said as he sat down in a chair.
"I bought them a while ago with my allowance," he mumbled as he worked on constructing a tower that looked similar to the Empire State building. "Used them a few times before now," Adam said as he carefully connected the joints and legs to make sure it didn't fall over.'
[15:18] Sam Winchester: “Cool, you always liked them before.” Trevor said before taking a sip and then chewed on his bottom lip as he watched him. There was so much shit he wanted to talk to his brother about but his own humiliation at it all kept him from saying it.
"Yeah," Adam said as he started working on a smaller piece to put on the bigger one. He hated this. No one told him anything, Trever pulled his shit and there was nothing said. No notes to explain, no heart to hearts. Just Rez telling him to buck up and try harder. Well, this was him trying harder. It was ignoring problems and pretending that he didn't think his brother was a lame douche that he'd always been told not to end up like. This was him trying.
[15:28] Sam Winchester: Trevor rubbed his thumb over the side of the can and then winced. “Adam…I want to talk to you and I don’t know how you’re going to react to it, but I hate not talking to you.” The older boy said as he pulled one leg up to his chest and set the pop on the table.
"More excuses for being a dick?" Adam grumbled. "Or should I just get over it and move on as well?" It sucked. Trever just acted like Adam's feelings were stupid and unfounded. Like he was being the selfish one. He didn't care what Trever had to say, but he'd let him say it anyways otherwise he'd be using this as an excuse for something else later.
[15:40] Sam Winchester: “Why do you have to do that? I actually have shit I want to talk to you about and you just…” Trevor shook his head and rested his chin on his knee as he wrapped his arms around his leg. “Doesn’t matter Adam.”
"You always have shit, Trever. Something is always going on I need to just understand and move on from whether or not I'm okay with it," Adam snapped. "You don't care how I feel, just that you don't feel guilty because you kept a secret. I have to feel bad for you because it was so hard, but guess what? I'm the teen! You're the adult! Act like one!" He snapped as he accidentally broke what he was working on. Swearing under his breath, he huffed and started to pick up the pieces, too mad to try and put it back together.
Trevor watched as his brother exploded in front of him with calm eyes, he had almost given up on trying to tell Adam it wasn’t the way he perceived it, he didn’t listen anyways. But Trevor had to try. “One I never said you needed to just understand anything, two don’t ever tell me I don’t care how you feel, I took care of you, your entire life so don’t say I don’t care. But you know what I can have problems too; you’re not the only one the world is against. So what’s wrong Adam…and don’t blame it all on me because I can’t be your only problem in life.”
"One, yes you did! When you forgot me at the pizza parlor for your stupid slut! I should've just let it go and moved on. Two, act like it! All you've been doing is shit. You show up to the dance drunk and then disappear, you side with your stupid girlfriend person when we argued, and then you go and act like I'm some idiot that doesn't get it! Like I should have it all figured out by now. It doesn't matter about my problems, because you're only concerned with your own, with your girlfriend, in your own little world."
Trevor did his best not to let his expression change, he just let Adam yell at him whether it made sense to him or not. “Really, that’s how you see everything?” He asked, his mask slipping. Trying to act more like himself made Trevor a lot easier to hurt and it showed when Adam was yelling. “the way you think that I think about you is wrong, not that it matters because you won’t listen to me. And I am allowed to be concerned with my own problems Adam…they are my problems. Do you want to hear about them? Not likely. But I’m sitting here, trying to be your brother and you don’t want to accept it. You want to hold all my past behavior against me and I’m not saying I wasn’t a dick or a douche or whatever the fuck you feel like calling me but I’m trying.”
Adam just stared at Trever hard, just getting angrier. Almost to the point of tears. He just wasn't getting it! It was like Adam was telling him how he felt that he was being treated and all he was getting was denial. That he was the one with the problems with everything, that how he felt didn't matter. "Whatever! I'm leaving," he growled, going to the front to grab his shoes and coat that had his wallet and key in it.
Trevor felt tears in his eyes and he just got up from the table and grabbed his phone out of his pocket, he didn’t know what to do anymore. It was like they were talking in two different languages and only knew enough of the other’s to piss each other off. He looked at Adam as he shoved his shoes on and had no idea what to do. Everytime he opened his mouth this happened, which was why he avoided his brother as much as possible. He just sent his uncle a text and went back towards his room.
No one ever listened to him anymore! It was all about them and they didn't care how Adam felt. Cassidy just wanted pity and someone to tell her that she was cool treated her badly so she could have a sob story to talk about. Uncle John was wrapped up with helping Trever out of his latest caper, and Trever was too wrapped up in how his problems were the most important thing in the world. He was fed up and he wasn't sure he wanted to be around anyone. It was just as bad as being at home, but at least back home he had friends. Here he had Ari and everyone else fucked off. Stalking out, he slammed the door shut, shaking the table and collapsing his tower he'd been working the past hour and a half on.
