Re: Frankie/Lyle - 9:30ish
Lyle didn't mind going back inside. Actually, as nice as it was out here, it felt a little too isolated. He felt bad about Frankie having to just talk for the both of them. She didn't seem to mind, but still, he knew she was a social butterfly. Plus, she looked like her teeth were about to start chattering.
Stepping back inside, Lyle almost expected her to give him some form of thanks and then to wander off, floating away like girls tended to do. They liked male company, but they liked flitting about the room even more. So he was surprised when she expressed concern that she was bugging him. How could she think that? He was having fun, actually, more than he'd expected to. With a gentle smile, Lyle pulled the invisible button from his pocket, sealing it back onto her lips. She needed to stop with this silly talk, because he liked her company just fine. And just to prove it, he took her by the hand and brought her back out to the dance floor, this time for a fast number.
