Charlie/Ana - 9:30
At the beginning of the week, Ana wasn't quite sure if she was going to attend the wedding. It was supposed to be a joyous celebration, but she hardly felt any reason to celebrate lately. So much was either going wrong or falling apart around her that she just didn't feel like being around happy people.
Somehow, the trip to Texas had changed her mind. Going away with Adam, even if it wasn't the most relaxing trip, seemed to do her good. With a little bit of encouragement from him and some begging on Ava's part, Ana finally agreed to go to the wedding.
Throughout the ceremony and reception, Ana kept her distance from Ava whenever she was with Charlie because she didn't want to start yet another argument with him, especially at their colleagues' wedding. After a bit of dancing with Adam, she went back to their table while he went off to talk to some of the guys on security. Ana idly twirled her champagne flute in her hand, staring out into space as Charlie approached. It wasn't until he spoke that she snapped out of her trance and looked up at him. She wasn't expecting a compliment from him, but she accepted it anyway. "Thank you. You look handsome." Taking a sip from her glass, she continued to twirl it in her hand. She didn't really want to talk to him, but she couldn't exactly yell at him to go away either.
