Re: James/Fisher
The only real consequence that James would care about right now was if he'd known that Will was here. He hadn't seen him yet and he honestly didn't expect him to be. But James had caused the other man enough heartache and the last thing he would want to do is hurt him more, to rub in his face something that was probably already grating at him enough. But that was just because he really did love the angel and, even if he was by some accounts a complete and total jackass, he wasn't that cruel and he wouldn't want to be.
Yes, James liked to put Fisher out there, but that was just because he loved him so much that he wanted everyone to know it. He'd remembered how much of a debate it had been for them to even come out with their relationship the first time around to begin with. James wanted it but Fisher didn't. That seemed to be the case. But he would take things slower this time around, ease him into the idea of it all. Or he would at the very least try.
Smiling down at Fisher when he spoke, James couldn't help himself. He reached down to cup the other man's face, tilting Fisher's chin up so that he could press a soft kiss against the smaller man's lips. He kept it sweet, light, chaste, nothing anywhere near pornographic, just tender, and then pulled away with a smile. "I love you, Fisher Majors," he whispered, then pulled him tight to him once more.
