Re: Frankie/Lyle - 9:30ish
Although surprised, Lyle was glad when Frankie wanted to go out. Maybe he did need a breather. It was a little hard seeing everyone here, dancing and smiling and happy, people in love and enjoying the magic of the night. He wasn't in the mood to feel magical, but he wasn't going to ruin it for anyone else either. That wasn't his style.
Following Frankie, he looked around at the decoration, only just now taking notice of it. He'd kinda been in his own head tonight. Nodding a little in agreement, he had to admit that Nox and Belle's choice in location was pretty nice. He'd thought about his own wedding before, to an extent. He was pretty sure most guys did, but had never dared to ask another about it. No one had ever asked him, and he was the kind of guy you could ask anything of, so he assumed it was one of those things men did not discuss.
The air outside was cool, even he could feel it, though it didn't bother him. But Frankie was not only a fire sprite, but a girl, and she'd be a popsicle in a few seconds. He knew that she hated New England weather (but she hated Chicago more). Taking his hand from her a moment, he shrugged out of his jacket and draped it around her shoulders. It wasn't really warm from body heat, but maybe it had soaked some up from just being in a crowded room.
