Who: Rorie and Tiger
What: Helping and packing
Where: Finn's old room
When: Afternoon
Rorie was tired. He’d spent Sunday getting Finn situated in his new hospital after a very painful goodbye. Now, he had to wait at least a week before he could contact Finn, by phone at that, just because of the entire situation. It was stressful and he was avoiding everyone so he didn’t blow up at them. He didn’t wanna explain to them why he was so moody because that meant opening up more than he wanted to. The ones that knew the situation let him have his space. Now, not only was he having pack up his brother’s stuff, but also his own stuff to move into the house that Liam gave him. It was necessary. He had to put down an address that the hospital wouldn’t think suspicious, even if it was supernatural friendly. That didn’t mean someone wouldn’t come in and not know about them, see the address then wonder why it’s to a detention facility. So, Rorie was moving into the house.
First order of business though was Finn’s room. Carrying box after box, he went to his brother’s old room to pack it out and clean it up. A somber face told anyone he passed he wasn’t a happy person about his job that he had to do. Determined to do it on his own, he set his face in a frown, something that would keep him from just breaking down. He had to be strong and be able to put these things away. Rorie couldn’t completely say good bye if he didn’t do this himself. So with boxes piles up against the dresser, Rorie started in one corner and had worked for about an hour, taking his time putting things away, making it halfway across the room before he had to stop and take a break.
Holding the picture of him and Finn the day before Finn left the first time, the black and white photo was held in shaking hands. He hadn’t lost it since the hospital for a split moment. Refusing to lose it again, he forced himself to stare at the picture. The more he looked at it, the easier it would be, right?
