Rez knew better than anyone that you didn't always have the chance to say goodbye, so getting to do this at all was a plus and the fact that this was so... nice, in a bittersweet sort of way, made it better. He just wanted to stay like this for as long as he possibly could, arms wrapped around him, face buried against him, silent. But all good things had to come to an end.
"I know." That was really all that he could say. And it was true. He did know. He knew that he felt like he had to do this, knew that maybe this would be for the best, and hoped that maybe, just maybe, it would make them closer maybe. Maybe after Fisher left and got his shit together and got his head on straight then he would realize that James wasn't the one for him anymore either. And maybe then they'd be able to... make something out of this crazy mess. At least that was what he was hoping for.
"Will I see you again before you go or is tonight it?" He pulled back to look at Fisher, giving him a soft squeeze as he did so. "I meant it when I said I'd take ya to the airport before. If ya need me to." He shrugged a little.
