The way Anne spoke of Richard, made Henry smile. He was pleased to see that there was an obvious affinity between his childe and the lycan, that once again he has made the right decision, and Lord knows the matters of heart were far more delicate than those of war, even if they were instigated by politics. The truth be told, Henricus expected Anne to be finicky and throw a tantrum, perhaps even lock herself in her room for nights and sob into her teddy bear. Her attitude pleasantly surprised him, it was poised, mature and self-confident, all signs of a great future vampire Queen in the making, should that unfortunate day come when she would have to take over.
"Ah yes," Henricus smiled, recalling his brief interlocution with the McManus brothers. "I am to meet with them soon, you may attend the audience. They seem to have the right values instilled in them. There should be more humans like that, instead of those northern rascals." Henricus grimaced in displeasure, his fangs shimmering in the light of the torches that lined the walls. The closer to the room they got the harder it was to not think of the announcement he was about to make.
