Who: Morrigan, Calvin, Krishna, and open
What: A (slightly drunk) journal entry
When: Saturday, February 17th, late evening
[All writing is slightly loopier than usual, and there is a partial ring of faint red in the margin of the page from a spilled drip of wine that reached the rim of the glass]

Perhaps I never told you, but I saved three bottles of wine from the last batch the Kelly Vineyard ever made. Not... Rosier Manor Vineyard. Before that. Before the Clovennians Before Lachlan From when Hiraeth was yours.
I was saving them for something. I don't really know what. Maybe for when you were back in the position you should be, or for when I had a family again, or just for when things felt better in some significant way, but--
Regardless, it seemed unnecessary to hold onto all of them indefinitely, so I drank one tonight and I can say with confidence that no batch that has come from our vines since has come close. We really were good at what we did.
Maybe even if it doesn't feel like he's back, it will at least taste like it soon.
Krishna
I didn't know you well before the fire burned my whole life. Did you ever get a chance to enjoy the wine when my family made it? I assure you, it was much better then than it is now.
Visible to all: An excerpt from a Clovennian poem
