Who: Leo, Jamie, NPC!Olivia, and an apperance from NPC!Lillith too.
What: A party! Much to angsty Leo's despair.
When: December 22nd, evening.
Where: The Tatting residence.
"Leo, stop slouching." Putting one hand on her son's shoulder, Lillith Tatting came up behind him and curtly tried to straighten out his posture. One of her biggest pet peeves about Leo was that he was always slouching. Particularly when he was in a bitter mood. And he wasn't doing much to hide the fact that this party was the last place he wanted to be. He had scowled often through helping clean up the house the past few days (even though they had an elf, Lillith's standards for a tidy house were much too high to be placed soley on him). But Lillith had purposely ignored him, knowing that if anything it would probably be good for him practice social interaction, even if it was forced.
The only kind of interaction Leo was used to as far as partys went was either breaking them up or surveying the scene for possible rule infractions. Or just general inappropriate behavior of any kind. Without that role, he felt extremely out of place and uncomfortable. The party was just beginning but there were already enough visitors to congregate and Leo had already been asked twice about how school was going and if he was preparing for NEWTs. Of course he was preparing for NEWTs, why did these practical strangers feel the need to ask him about it? None of them were even relatives. Just clients of the store or potential clients. The point of this party was clearly to network, the actually holiday celebrating was being saved for Christmas. Once again Leo had no idea why he was required to be here.
The fireplace suddenly lit up, indicating a new guest and everyone (except Leo) turned to see who was just arriving.
