The Sidelines

Hello everyone! My name is Mickey, this is my first active Harry Potter based roleplay -- I just recently read the books and saw the movies and thought it was fantastic. I'm on almost every night, I'm Eastern timezone, and I'm always up to threading, or AIM play, whichever! My AIM is next left hell, if you want to plot!

I play Albus Severus Potter, the resident slacker and Slytherin of the Potter brood. Middle child of the Great Generations boy-who-lived, he decided he'd much rather bask in the shadows and be forgotten to the masses while his older brother, James, followed in their father's footsteps. He'll be making a rushed return to the wizarding world -- after spending the eight or so years in the muggle world -- when he gets word from his family that his father was killed in the bombing.

I'm open to any plot ideas anyone might have - friends/acquaintances/enemies from Hogwarts, people he grew up with, or even someone he's meeting for the first time. I'm really excited to get started. :)

Alright based on the responses that I got from the post the other day, it seems like the best course of action right now is to reset the game to 21st of December.

With the reset if you fell like you want to adjust any of the details with your characters please just let us know. Also now would be a fabulous time to think of a second (or third?) character for anyone who has been on the fence. (And of course to recruit any friends!)

I am going to go through the main community and change all threads to be tagged as "pilot" - so they'll still be there. After that I am going to put up a date change post of 21st of December and let it be that Saturday for a few days and then change to the week after. Hopefully this will give everyone a chance to play some super fun tragedy and exciting threads. Feel free to post whatever you'd like about that day. The date change will have the bare bones timeline of what happens.

I really hate to do this, but I've been completely overwhelmed lately and it's only promising to get worse for the next couple of months, so I'm afraid I need to let Rosalind go. I had a great time with the little I was able to fit in, but I just feel bad holding onto a character I don't have time for.
