Who: Todd and Tyler Rhone
What: Tyler breaks into Todd's apartment to say hi, and... move in? :D
When: Wednesday night, March 16 2011
Where: Todd's apartment in Savannah, Georgia
Warnings: TBD?
Tyler had been out of the house for about a week now, and he had no plans of going back. He'd done a lot of things to warrant getting kicked out in his time, but he could honestly say that this wasn't exactly high on the list. Getting booted for coming out to his mother as a bisexual? Now that would have made more sense to him. But finally fessing up to her about all this reincarnate bullshit seemed to be what did the trick. Or the 'last straw', as she called it. Apparently parental devotion only went as far as their child's sanity, and telling his mother that he could talk to dead people clearly meant he wasn't on the sane track anymore (because after years of being branded a lost cause with a death wish hadn't already put him in the insane category). Who knew?
Like he cared. He loves his mother but, as he often put it, she was a crazy bitch (pot calling the kettle black there) and maybe he'd be better off on his own. Or not. He and Miles could take care of themselves to a point but as far gone as Tyler was, he wasn't all that keen on becoming another case of tragic teen homelessness any time soon. No thanks. Just because his mom kicked him out didn't mean he had no where else to go. There was at least one other place he could go if he played his cards right...
He took his time getting to Savannah. He had decided to hitch hike instead of taking the MTN, because where's the fun in unexpected travel plans if you get to your destination that quick? By the time he finally made it to his Uncle Todd's apartment, it was Wednesday night and his uncle's apartment was dark. He must have been out, but if you think that would have stopped someone like Tyler then you clearly didn't know him that well. Or you weren't even the slightest bit observant.
It took some sweet talking on his part of a lady at the door to buzz him in, but once inside it took no time at all for him to break into Todd's apartment without making so much as a sound. The place was... not the tidiest. Not that Tyler really cared about mess, he had no room to talk since his old bedroom was a bit of a pigsty itself. He spent a few minutes snooping around the place before he went to snoop around in the fridge and drink one or two of his uncle's beers. Then he threw himself down on the living room couch and waited in the dark for his uncle to come back, not having bothered to turn on any of the lights. He couldn't turn down a dramatic entrance when he saw one? Tyler was a little screwed up in the head.
