WHO: Cassie, Kim, and Remy (Oh my?)
WHAT: Rave par-tay!
WHERE: Eventually a warehouse in Los Angeles
WHEN: Backdated to Saturday night
WARNINGS: TBD. Language, at least, because you've got two Winchesters talking here.
Life was all about trying new things, or so the guidance counselors at SU used to tell her all of the time. They had always had issues with Cassie's mind being wrapped up in finding the next big story for the paper rather than socializing with her peers, and after the second roommate had left, it had been suggested by her RA that she have at least one meeting with one of them. Which was when they'd given her the speech about broadening her horizons that she'd ignored until Sam came along, and now it seemed like that's all she was doing. From demons to raves, the ambitious reporter was now a newbie partying hunter. Or at least, that's how she was describing it privately in her head. That wasn't a thought to be shared.
The lax plan they had was pretty simple: she was going over to Kim's to get ready since the other girl had more experience with what should be worn at this type of party, and then they were going to meet Remy at the LA MTN to head over to the party. It was simple enough, and so far had been going off without too much of a hitch. They got dressed in Kim's room while her younger foster siblings ran around the house like loud loons, and hair was done quickly as well. It wasn't until the make-up part that the executive decision to leave the house and finish the make-up process at the MTN was decided, mostly because of the moment when one of the younger kids slammed into Cassie in the middle of their game of tag.
Ten minutes later, they stood in the dim light of the front lobby, make-up bags propped on a bench while they hurried to get ready. "Okay, plan," Cassie said, turning to Kim with a cringe on her face. "I do you, you do me? Having nothing but a mini mirror is making this really difficult."
