Who: Natasha Saunders and Barney Collins What: Barney gets a little drunk and Natasha and Ilsa find out about Rick. When: Saturday 3/5/11, evening Where: Bogey's in Savannah, Georgia Rating: Ummmm...PG-13 to be on the safe side.
Natasha had been working at Bogey's for nearly a year now-and she liked it better than any other job she'd had so far. True, it wasn't really all that different from other waitressing jobs she'd had, but the environment was different. Better. Barney Collins had set out to create a certain atmosphere when he had opened the place and he had achieved it. She was actually a little surprised that her family had never gone there, but only a little. The Saunders had hardly ever eaten out, period, given how strictly Mom and Dad stuck to the Kosher diet. Unless it was a Jewish establishment, they didn't set foot in there.
She'd be the first to admit that she had initially been drawn to the place because of it's name. With Ilsa in her head, how could it not? So she'd popped inside on a whim, saw that they were hiring, put in an application, and, bam, four months later she'd started working there. It wasn't a dream job by any means, but it paid the bills, and she genuinely liked Mr. Collins-and his little boy, Luke. For the past couple of months, she had actually become Barney's fall back when he needed a babysitter. It didn't bother her in the slightest, she loved kids and it put a little extra money in her pocket. Besides, Luke was an absolute darling and seemed to like her as much as she liked him. She may not have known her boss too well, but she figured if Luke hadn't liked her, she never would've been asked to watch him in the first place.
It was late in the evening on a Saturday and, instead of being out on a date or anything, Natasha had been working. She worked most Saturday evenings, actually. Her social life wasn't anything to write home about, so she was always willing to work the shifts her co-workers were more likely to opt out of. The restaurant had actually closed about half an hour ago, but she was hanging around, cleaning the place up so that it was ready for the next day before heading home for the night.
