Who: Lillie White, Justin Anderson, Shane Savage, Cassie MacMahon, Michelle Kingston, Miri Evans, Thomas Stearns, Jason White, aaand anybody/everybody who wants to crash Lillie's party? This is a free-for-all, within reason, so tag in if you want in (especially if there's someone you need to get off the inactive list for the AC)!
What: LILLIE'S BIG FAT EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY!
Where: Jason's house in London
When: 10 PMish, January 13, 2011
Warnings: She's legal now. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Today was the day. The big ol' 1-8. The day she stopped being a minor. Lillie White was ecstatic, and Dean Winchester was simply relieved. Finally, the day had come. Lillie was an adult now. Halle-frickin'-lujah.
Of course, that didn't mean that she was going to start acting like an adult. If anything, by the time everybody showed up and the party started rolling, Lillie was arguably acting crazier than ever, bouncing from room to room and group to group with a retarded grin on her face and a tongue that was extremely (and disturbingly) blue. The girl was hyperactive. She didn't need drugs – all she needed was sugar, and she got it from the icing that was supposed to go on her cake, but instead traveled only the few short inches from container to mouth via one very large spoon. She was having the time of her life with the people she cared about. Mostly. Her mom wasn't here, but she was too overstimulated to really think about that. Her mom had missed five birthdays now, and she'd miss plenty more. Lillie had accepted a long time ago that nothing was going to change that.
And honestly, who was she to complain? The family she had now was more than she deserved. Without Jason, she probably never would have even reached her eighteenth birthday. Without Shane, Dean never would've gotten the father/son relationship he deserved with John. And Miri and Cassie and Justin... weirdly, Lillie needed them just as much as Dean did. Without all of them, she was just a lonely little girl with a big mouth and... well, that was it. Without them, she was nothing. A realization like that normally would've scared her, but here and now? She just shrugged off her and Dean's mutual feeling of inadequacy and moved on. Now was not the time for emo. Now was the time for fun.
With a bottle in one hand and a plateful of cake balancing precariously in the other, Lillie wiggled her way into the living room, where the small crowd was mingling awkwardly. Well. She couldn't have that. Awkward was for pussies. Clearing her throat loudly, she shoved the plate of cake into someone's arms (whose, she didn't know) and dashed over to the stereo. "It's too quiet!" she announced loudly before choosing an appropriate party song and turning it all the way up. She started dancing wildly when the main hook began, not caring even the slightest bit if she was the only one dancing. This was her party. She could do what she wanted.
Up to and including tripping over someone's feet and falling on her face. "Whoops! Fell over..." Ah, yes. This was most definitely her kind of party.
