Who: Faith Anderson and Gabriel Coeus What: Getting advice from an expert When: Morning Where: Gabriel's house
Gabriel Coeus was a hard man to get in touch with. That was obviously by design. She knew where he lived though, so he wasn't going to be rid of her that easily. He was too good of an ally to lose. Besides which, he was rather fascinating. However bad an idea it might be, she wanted to find out more about him. Faith had taken the MTN to New Mexico and then rented a Jeep, under an assumed name, naturally. It was still a long drive to Cloudcroft, and from there to his house in the woods. The man definitely liked his privacy.
She hadn't taken any more jobs in the last two weeks, but she'd been doing her research. She had notes on every single person on that hit list. Word had gone around that the last job was done, but was messy. She didn't know if Gabriel had been paid for it. She knew she hadn't been. She also knew that if she was going to get anywhere, she needed a big win now. The mundane targets were off the table, which meant that she was going to need some help if she was going to do this right.
Making her way to his door she couldn't get over how quiet it was out here. He would definitely have heard her coming. You couldn't accidentally sneak up on someone in a place like this. She knocked on his door, carefully balancing a notebook and two cups up coffee in her hands and fully expecting to be left standing there or met with a weapon. "You told me not to go in half cocked like last time, so I decided I'd better consult with an expert," she said as soon as the door opened a crack.
