Who: Kit Harris and Jim Reynolds What: Kit comes to the realization that she's kiiiind of a girl. Everybody run. Where: Jim's office, The Agency When: Sunday night, December 12 Warnings: Uh. Just. Be warned?
It had been almost a month. Ten days short of a month, in fact. Three weeks since she'd found out about it herself. Three weeks, and she was still pissed as hell about it. It was stupid. She knew that. It wasn't like there was anything he could do about it. It was Toby's fault they all had to deal with the pint-sized puta – sorry, genie, she corrected herself with a roll of her eyes – he'd uncorked. But it wasn't Toby she was mad at. Quite the opposite, actually. Every time they thought about it, she and Leo had a little laugh at Toby's expense. But even that didn't stop her from being mad at Jim. It made no sense, and now it was starting to affect her work. The passing of Senator Cho's bill in the Senate had caught her completely off-guard. Once again, Jim's fault. Once again, ridiculous. It was really starting to piss her off.
So, finally, she had enough. Knowing he'd still be there because he was just as crazy as she was, she marched down to the Media Department, barged into his office, slammed the door, and locked it behind her. She crossed her arms over her chest and stared him down, hoping her tough stance would hide the fact that she really had no idea what she was doing or why she was here. There was an awkward pause as she struggled to find the words. After a moment, she finally blurted out, "We need to talk before I shoot you in the face." Not the friendliest of openings, but Kit obviously wasn't feeling all that friendly. She didn't know what she was feeling, beyond angry and completely irrational. It was all very confusing.
