Who: Willa Thompson and Hunter Williams
What: Moriarty and Holmes meet face to face unawares. Or... not so unawares. Let's see who folds first?
When: Monday morning, October 25 2010
Where: London, England
Warnings: TBD!
This turn events had taken Willa by surprise, but not completely. If there was one thing Moriarty had taught her that had stuck, it was that their arch nemesis Sherlock Holmes was as unpredictable as he was infuriating. This newly reincarnated Holmes seemed to stay mostly true to that assessment, with an emphasis on infuriating. His methods were unfathomable to her, as in as far as she knew he didn't have any. Completely unmotivated and apathetic to the world around him, that had been her very first impression of him. So it was no wonder that she was actually taken aback by his sudden initiative in all of this, but it wasn't entirely out of the range of what was expected of him. If the tables were turned and it was she who suspected him, she'd want to get a closer look at her target too. And even in her current position, how could she resist the chance? Perhaps it was Willa who had underestimated him.
... Right, like she would ever admit to that.
Hunter hadn't been the only one to surprise her. Professor Moriarty hadn't immediately protested to the arrangement, which had only made Willa more hesitant to decline. When her head mate was metaphorically stroking his chin over something, she listened, and she acted accordingly. That was how she found herself, almost two hours on the dot after her conversation with Hunter Williams, on the other side of the London MTN station and walking out to meet her counter part. She noticed him right away, even without the dark hat he'd described she would have recognized him almost instantly. Tall, good looking, but extremely unkempt and with a lazy posture in a way that just screamed Sherlock Holmes. She fought back the urge to wrinkle her nose as she stepped closer to him, offering him her best attempt at a friendly smile. "You must be Hunter. We meet at last."
