"I wasn't offering." She smiled and shook her head. "You look like you can take care of yourself anyway." The little she'd been able to dig up about him indicated that too. Any soldier and mercenary who was still alive was obviously fairly good at his job. Not that she'd let him get himself hurt if she could help him. She didn't think Max could live with that.
"You want to play Eyes Only? You need information. You don't trust the Agency, and I trust Logan enough that I'm willing to trust you a little bit too." She stepped into the room. Part of her wanted to touch him, another part of her was afraid to even think about that. Maybe there was good reason to be afraid. There wasn't any way to know. "I know things, about Camelot and the Agency. I know all there is to know about the resistance. Aside from Hughes, I'm the highest ranking survivor of CORE." She pulled a slim solid state hard drive out of her black messenger bag. "And I have the most complete archive of what's left of CORE's files."
