Who: Matthew Taylor, Alexis Taylor & Kylie Kensington Taylor
What: Stalking their cousin's bride, things get a little out of hand.
When: June 10th
Where: NYC
Warnings: CHARACTER DEATH and violence surrounding that.
There were always times when the Taylor twins had disagreed on things, and others when they’d agreed. They both had a mutual love of destruction but they’d always shown it in different ways. Lexi loved to shout it from the rooftops while Matt liked to be subtle, not so much out of fear of being found, but because he enjoyed the feeling of being a wolf among the sheep. Reveling in the knowledge that he could reach out at any moment and destroy the people that surrounded him and they would never see it coming.
Lexi had shown her hand long ago, taunting their cousin openly which made things a little awkward. He had wanted to let it play out longer. Watch the paranoia grow before he spun his web and caught the smaller spider. His sister had even threatened to out him once or twice, though he’d been as clear as possible when he informed her that if she did so he wouldn’t blink before killing the bitch. It was one thing to ruin plans because she had no patience, it was another to actively meddle and give the game away for everyone else. Besides, it had worked out alright. While Thomas was focused on the enemy he knew he didn’t have all that much time to worry about the one he didn’t know.
The twins sat on a rooftop, watching people go by beneath them. Sometimes he felt something that could almost be described as pity for his sister. She had never been good at painting the mask of sanity on her face. It was almost ironic that they had become the reincarnates that the did. They’d almost be more fitting the other way around. She currently sat on the edge of the building half-camouflaged in her symbiote tapping her heel out of boredom leaning precariously forward. He knelt on the other side of the parapet, his arms folded over the top of it.
“Matty,” she whined. She was always whining these days. “I’m boreeeed. I’m going down to kill her, you’ve waited long enough.” She made as if she was going to jump and his arm shot out, hand closing around her wrist before she made it any further. His shirt flickered in annoyance, one moment the checkered design that was in keeping with his regular clothing, the next a red and black mess, then back again.
“You can kill her in a minute. When she’s not on the phone.” He growled, voice grating, harsher than usual. His eyes never left the petite Kensington girl walking below them as she came out of a store. Taylor, he corrected himself. She’d married into the family after all. It was about time she met the rest of them. Today was as good a time as any, now that the pair had moved away from their respective superhero families they were much easier to target, and today the wife had decided to go shopping without Thomas in tow.
“Fuck you. I’m going now. You can wait around like a pussy if you want.” Alexis squirmed under his grip, her arm turning the black of Venom as she tried to slip from his grasp. Matt was done with her ruining things for him. Especially after he’d invited her along just because he knew she’d enjoy this just as much as he would. He moved his free hand from the parapet, drawing his arm back as it reshaped itself into a jagged looking blade and moved smoothly to punch it through her throat before the symbiote made it impossible. Before she could destroy yet another of his games.
The noise of surprise was unexpected. He wouldn’t have thought that his sister could be surprised by this. They had both courted death with each other. She was just as capable of killing him as he was her. The most surprising thing was that it had taken them this long. The surprise didn’t last though, as he glanced at his twin he could see that it was now annoyed. Probably if she survived she would complain that he had ruined something expensive. He yanked her back onto the roof proper, pulling his blade arm from her throat then smashing back in through her exposed flesh again and again until the light in her eyes faded. Casually he moved his grip from her arm into her hair, and began twisting, using the arm-blade when necessary until he separated her head from the body. He’d keep this. Maybe come back afterward to make sure the symbiote hadn’t gotten any funny ideas about bringing her back.
Now that his distractions were dealt with, he had an appointment with the newest member of the Taylor family. Finally, he allowed Carnage to cover him, sliding over the curves of his face and body like a lover. It was time to say hello. Lexi could say hello too, tendrils of symbiote held her head carefully at his hip. Perhaps he’d make the two girls matching bookends. Extending his arms, webs shot out across the street and he launched himself from the building to put in motion his big play.
