Who: Clementine Bennett and Lorne Cameron.
What: RING SHOPPING. For, uh, someone else. Lorne's a good brother.
When: Friday afternoon.
Where: Tiffany's in San Diego.
Warnings: Crack? Amusement, general hi-jinks.

There probably weren't a whole lot of girls who could march in to a jewelry store to pick up wedding bands and have absolutely no expectations. Of course, the circumstances in this case were pretty unique. When Lorne had asked her if she wanted to tag along to pick up the rings for his brother's sudden and mysterious wedding, there was no way she could pass it up. Doing slightly undercover things for Lorne's shady brother always proved exciting, and this time it was a whole lot less risky than the last incident. They were just going to pick up some jewelry. No one was bleeding or dying or fleeing. Actually, it wasn't very exciting at all, but they'd come up with some idea to improve on that.

That improvement came in the form of both of them having a good sense of humor about the whole situation. A guy and a girl walk in to a ring store, it doesn't usually take a lot of guessing to figure out why they're there. Even if Lorne and Clem weren't even remotely interested in tying the knot, that didn't mean they couldn't pretend.

So far, the woman behind the counter had beamed at them with a smile so wide it looked like she might break something, commented on them being a lovely couple, and told them about their newest offers so rapidly that Clem didn't hear half of it. And that was all in under the first minute. Her response?

"It was so nice of you to bring me here, honey. Your first four are gonna be so jealous..."
