Who: Juliet Pierce and Hunter Williams
What: Holmes and Watson go out for a drink
Where: Nashville, Tennessee – Miri's clinic, then a bar?
When: Backdated to Sunday evening, August 29th
Warnings: TBA?
Juliet was usually one of the perkier nurses at the clinic, but she was sure that her overly chipper spirits bordered on the obnoxious tonight. She couldn't very well help it, though, could she? It wasn't every day Sherlock Holmes took a girl out for a pint! As she opened her locker to retrieve her real-person clothes, she nearly had a fit of hysterics just at the thought. Sherlock Holmes. Taking her out on what was practically a blind date. That would never get old.
After so many years without Sherlock, the last thing Juliet ever expected was for him to actually show up, let alone in someone so decidedly un-Sherlockian as this Hunter Williams. He didn't speak properly, he had a sense of humor (shocking!), and strangest of all, he was attractive. Very attractive. In a kind of unkempt gypsy sort of way, but attractive nonetheless. Watson already wanted to shoot himself for her even thinking such a thing, but she couldn't exactly help that either. Juliet was a snob. She liked to look at pretty things. Hunter Williams definitely qualified.
She changed her clothes quickly, humming cheerfully to herself, and put on some makeup before she made her way outside. She made a point to stop and say goodnight to her friends and co-workers before she left every night, and tonight was no different. And even though she stopped to chat, she was still outside a little before 9:00, which was amazing. She was never early – on the contrary, she was either barely on time or always running late. She supposed that just showed how eager she was, or maybe how nervous the prospect of meeting Sherlock made her. He was a pretty intimidating fellow, and Juliet wasn't all that special. What if he didn't like her? What if he thought she was silly? But no. That was silly. Of course he'd like her. Everyone did. Didn't they?
Pushing those thoughts aside, she took a seat on one of the benches and waited, not quite patiently but not bouncing off the walls either. It was certainly going to be an interesting night.
