Re: David/Finley
Had he been a little less inebriated, there may have been more resistance, but then, David was already kind of used to Finley manhandling him wasn't he? He fell against him easily, the only outward sign of any resistance was the eventual slight bracing against his chest with the hand he'd slid up it, once he’d found some footing. More noticeable once Finley grabbed him by the hips that provoked a sharp intake of breath from David, attempting to pull him in further. He flattened his arm from elbow to wrist against the slope of Finley's chest, curling his fingers into the shirt material there and bracing himself as Finley drew him in, pressed their mouths together and David felt that first slide of Finley’s tongue against the line of his lips, causing him to shiver.
It was like sense memory overload, that first press of lips, Finley’s hands on his hips, it sent David spiraling back into memories of their last encounter, coming to him in flashes that had his head spinning as much as the amount of alcohol in his system, and the way they were colliding now. He’d worked hard not to think too much about it over the last week and a half, but the truth was, every chance his brain got it found a way to remind David of that night, especially when he was asleep and had the chance to dream about it. The amount of times he’d dreamed about him and Finley doing this was an embarrassing amount that he’d never admit to except under duress, but now with Finley touching him, and being not entirely sober, it was no easier for David to pretend he was keeping it cool than when he was texting Finley to get him here.
With the room dimly lit and the gentle but persistent vibrations coming from the DJ’s speakers that David could feel traveling through his feet, it really did give off the illusion that they were entirely alone, even if that was far from the truth. Just outside these walls, in the midst of all the noise, were any number of people who could walk in at any point. In his mind, he was alone here with Finley, and there was only the gentle nagging in the back of his head telling him that he wasn’t, giving David that slight sense of urgency that had his body not resisting Finley for long.
It wasn’t so much Finley kissing David that surprised him, more the sudden yank towards him coupled with the kiss, but David adjusted, head spinning a little and something warm igniting in the pit of his stomach at the noise Finley uttered. Kissing Finley felt exactly like it had the first time, his lips on David’s just the way he remembered. It didn’t take much coaxing to get David to part his lips for Finley willingly, the tension in his arm bracing against him giving out and David let his hips fall fully against his, opening his mouth to Finley with a shuddering inhale as he stopped fighting it, chests pressing together as he stepped into the embrace.
