Who: Theo Leibowitz and Lydia Evans What: A date. Really. Where: The city of brotherly love. When: Saturday night. Warnings: Not much beyond them being two stupid adults.
Seymour was still working at the restaurant, which meant that Theo could do whatever he wanted to. Okay, that wasn't true. But he'd let his roommate know that he was going to be busy tonight, and so if he wasn't back when he got back, then he was okay. What Theo didn't mention to his roommate, friend, and soon to be business partner was who he was going to be out with that night. Mostly because Theo couldn't believe that she'd actually said yes. In his mind, Lydia Evans was "the princess", mostly because of Han.
But she was a princess, too. She had the look of the finer things in life, and maybe he did feel a little rough in comparison to her. They were on two different planes of living, when it came down to it. So the fact that Lydia agreed to have dinner with him was a minor miracle, at best. Still, Lydia was willing to come onto his turf, which was nice of her, but he was glad about it for the fact that... he knew nothing about the other places now available to him from the MTN.
By keeping the date in Philadelphia, where he knew the layout, it helped plan the date well. And it meant he didn't have to brave the airsickness that apparently was normal from using the MTNs for the first couple of times. Han said he'd have to get over that one quick, and he agreed.
So he waited in front of the restaurant he'd told her to meet him at, dressed in dark slacks and a nice shirt. It was a pretty upscale, trendy restaurant, and very easy to pick out from the other restaurants on the street.
