Anna was a little nervous about going out, not terribly so, but a bit. She'd stayed pretty much in Adam's place or her parents since her return. Although with her parents she tended to stay in her room. It was just..awkward. They seemed convinced however that she was there daughter and she had to admit they felt very familiar. They'd insisted on therapy, which was not fun for them, but what was most irritating was their tendency to be overly accepting. Also, it did't help that they couldn't' seem to understand that Amara wasn't someone else, Amara was her. Their lives were inseparable. She didn't create Amara out of thin air. They were both there and they both shared a body.
Anyway, it was good to get out for a bit. There'd been no sign of Seline and she was almsot starting to feel safe. Which of course triggered every warning bell she had. She could never allow that sense of safety to set in. She'd dressed in a simple black dress and heels. Nothing too outrageous, although she had taken the time to straighten her hair before heading to Vegas via the MTN. A cab took her to the casino and she found her seat and waited to be "dazzled"
Desmond's show was impressive, very impressive actually. Or, it would have been had Anna not realized fairly early on that it wasn't magic. She wasn't sure how she knew, but she could tell that it wasn't magic, he could control the fire. Anna felt it sometimes during the show, sliding along her skin, the hairs on her arm lifting in a way that sent tingles across her skin. By the time the show ended she was very sure that although he had an impressive way with flame, Desmond was not a magician.
After he left the stage, she applauded with everyone else and watched as people stood up and began filing out of the theater. Anna, however, waited patiently as she was fairly certain than someone with Desmond's obvious ego would be ready to be showered with praise over his show. As he walked out she stood up with a bit of a smile, but waited for him to approach her.
