Who: Lydia Evans & Grace Lee What: Camelot interview When: Thursday, July 31st 2014 Where: Camelot Enterprises, London Warnings: None?
The Camelot Enterprises London office had been officially rebuilt, and back in working order after the incident. The incident, Lydia thought, shaking her head at herself. It was hardly a mere incident. Her younger sister Charlotte had been shot by a Resistance agent, and the building itself halfway demolished. The office had since been repaired, but Charlotte was still in a coma, and Lydia still had a hard time talking about it. Just because it was the life they chose didn't make it any easier, and sometimes she down right resented it. Still, when it came to her family, there was no question of who she was going to advocate.
Zach was the real PR genius, but from her years in Washington, Lydia had a pretty good handle on things. She'd conducted plenty of interviews before as a congressman's aid, talked to dozens of people holding political office and she'd known quite a few people in the service. Grace Lee's reputation didn't disappoint, but Lydia was far from intimidated. She'd dealt with people like Grace before, and while she respected a woman in charge, she wasn't one to fold easily. From everything she'd already heard about Grace Lee, Lydia expected this to be an interesting meeting, to say the least.
She arrived at Camelot Enterprises early that afternoon, giving herself enough time to set up in her temporary office and mentally prepare herself for the interview. As much as Leia loved a good 'diplomatic mission', Lydia was getting a little tired of the politics involved in this particular game. Every time she had to do this, that open position in Camelot's security department seemed more and more enticing. But not enough to take it, at least not yet. For now, she contented herself with relaxing at her desk with the crossword puzzle until the receptionist buzzed her guest in.
