Who: Charlotte McBride (stand-alone) What: Escaping the clinic Where: Clinic and going into Fabletown When: Late Friday/Early Saturday Warnings: Church of the Trueborns will be mentioned, trust issues, very paranoid and still in recovery from the virus reincarnate
After being given the cure (in spite of her own doubts but she knew there was no other real choice) Charlotte was starting to feel more like herself again. She knew splitting early was not the best ideas but she was also scared, the Trueborns would be after her the longer she stayed in one place. So she found her backpack, fiddle case and archery gear and quickly packed up. She debated briefly leaving a note but decided against it, having forgotten about the fever dreams and her nightmares of not only the cult but of Wesen (mostly since thanks to being sick Nick's promised crash course on his world had been massively delayed). She had also quickly gotten dressed in her few things and her boots. Her plan was to simply blend in as an average teenager. While packing and dressing she also caught part of a news report which proved her fears, the Trueborns were having a field day with the virus and were completely against the idea of a cure. "The freaks deserve this!" she heard someone hiss on the TV as another screamed,"The sooner they die the better off we'll be!". She also saw signs meaning another protest was in full swing.
"I will never be a sitting duck again, its time to fly." she whispered as she slipped out of the clinic unseen (at least she hoped she was unseen). "Nobody will ever break my heart again and its only a few months till they can't pull anything anyway. I can survive on the road for that long." she made her decision.
But that was when her plan quickly fell apart.
The side that had been blocked while on the run pre virus had kicked into overdrive (along with the fact the teen was still in recovery from the virus) since she found herself within Fabletown proper. The teen turned Grimm was sure she was seeing Wesen everywhere she looked in spite of Nick's reassurances as she tried to find a way out of the area. But after what felt like hours (but was only about 45 minutes) she slumped against the side of a building and finally shed a few tears. Plus if she was being honest with herself she still felt like crud. She also looked just as miserable as she felt.
"Can't trust, they will find me. Someone sold me out." she whispered over and over under her breath.
