I'm kind of a people person, if you didn't know. Who: Ryder Wilkinson (shinyisfalse) and Bishop Shaw (masksamadman) What: Talking. Because talking is good for you Lana Where: At Bishop's home. When: Sunday evening. Warnings: Standard curse words maybe, nothing major.
Being in hiding had been tiring. It felt like being hunkered down in barracks. In those homes they were in, hiding before everyone they loved died. Waiting for what could happen, but not knowing what that could be. That was truly the worst thing in the world. To only know that something was inevitable, but the time and the date of it was unknown, as well as the way it would happen. Not knowing could make you go crazy.
Just the act of leaving had been one of the best feelings in the world. Maybe it put them in more danger, who knows, but Ryder was damn glad to be out. It just felt nice to do something (and being able to sleep in your own bed really was one of the nicest things out there, to be honest). Not all of it was bad! Okay, most of it was bad, but you couldn't help but get to know people better when you were living with them in close quarters.
Which was why he was visiting Bishop. Ryder hadn't known him all that well before all of this, even though they were living in the same place, and probably passed each other on the street. But there's nothing better then to have someone there to help out when you're sticking in a corner and trying not to talk to yourself too loudly.
But Bishop had offered for anyone to come visit, and so once they were out, Ryder had contacted him. And he'd brought food. Because that's just polite. Ringing the doorbell, he stepped back a moment to look up. It was a nice place; Ryder always liked houses more then apartments.
