Warnings. Uhhhh. Good question...
Shae was close. So close she could practically taste it. This whole thing had been bugging her from the beginning; the dramatic diversion, the faceless gunman, the real crime which hadn't been the shooting at all, it'd been what had taken place down below in O&R. With emotions running high it was understandable, the conclusions people had jumped to, but Shae and Raven were not ones to jump to conclusions where logic had no place in it. None of it added up, so that was one of many reasons why she'd been exploring the mind of Jason Collins. To find out the truth.
It'd taken awhile. Weeks. Whoever had put the mojo on the demigod had done a good number on him, but Shae was determined to locate the source. Even the most complicated magic had a trail. It was more or less like a person leaving their fingerprints at the scene of a crime, it was just a matter of finding it. Whatever magic had been used to brainwash Jason wasn't magic she or Raven were used to, but it was still magic at its very core. Which meant it was something they could unravel, if only they were given enough time. Unfortunately, the Agency didn't really have time, so Shae was feeling the pressure. Hence the meditating.
Shae always meditated when she got too stressed, just like Raven always meditated when she felt her demon side was on the verge of bursting out. As far as Shae knew, Raven's heritage didn't really affect her in that way since Shae's own dad wasn't a demon, but there was still a level of control that she knew she needed to maintain in order not to go over the edge. Once you went postal, you never went back. Shae wasn't sure what would happen if she actually went postal, whether Raven's 'demon side' would actually make itself known in her or not, but she wasn't willing to take that chance. She had to remain in control.
The Teen Titan hovered in the air above one of the lab tables in the Magics department, legs crossed over each other in lotus position and eyes closed serenely, concentrating on all the things she'd discovered from Jason and his encounter. The missing strand was there, she knew it, all she had to do was weave them all together like a web and find the center. The center is where she'd discover the culprit. Maybe not his name, but magic had a funny way of leaving traces of someone behind. If she could sense them through the magic they'd used, maybe she'd be able to find the user. Shae was so engrossed in her exercise that she didn't even hear when someone else walked into the room.
