WHO: Lucas Hendrie, Jessica Williamson, Thea Williamson, Emily Thorn, Ron Ellis, and Riley O'Connell (Posting order?)
WHAT: A necessary training session
WHEN: Saturday Afternoon
WHERE: Camelot Training Center
WARNINGS: Probably some language and accidentally on purpose minor injuries. Look at who the reincarnates are, people. You can't be surprised by this.
Lucas was used to being faced with a wide-arrange of abilities in his job to hone the best fighters Camelot could offer. He had those whose reincarnates helped them be awesome from the first time they stepped onto the mat, and those fresh-faced newbies who forced him to wear protective gear for a good year of training them before he felt comfortable facing the clumsy younguns of the world determined to make a difference. Sometimes they frustrated him to no end, but he usually felt a sense of pride when they finally crossed over the hump that that held them back from being the best.
Other days, it was just routine training to keep them all in shape and fine-tune the skills they were already good at. The group in front of him and Jess at the moment was a mixture of the two; there were those who were excellent fighters--such as Riley--and those that were still rough around the edges. But they all had talents that were helpful to their survival, and Lucas was determined to make it so that they would outlive the Resistance. He wasn't losing anybody else.
"Okay. So we've got..." He let his eyes wander up the line, calculating in his mind the best way to train such a diverse group. The best way, he decided, was forcing them to work together for survival. Alright, they could do that. "Williamson, Thorn, Ellis, and O'Connell, right?" He questioned, waiting for the nods of affirmation from them all. They came--some a little reluctantly--but he grinned.
"Well great then. Get ready for the hardest two hours of your life. But first I wanna know what you think you can bring to the group unique to you. And if you say nothing, I hit you with a dodgeball. I think that sounds fair."
