Who. Liz Barry & Ava Prince What. The pessimistic fairy reaches out to her lost friend Where. Camelot's medical wing When. Friday afternoon, April 20th 2012 Warnings. TBD?
To say that Liz had been surprised when she received a call from someone in Camelot would have been an understatement. The reincarnate of Tinker Bell didn't have many loyalties to speak of, aside from her fictionally legendary loyalty to Peter Pan, but she was also an Agency girl through and through, so she'd never once gotten a recruitment call from them before. As it turns out, they weren't calling to recruit her, they were calling about Ava Prince.
She'd grown up in the same orphanage as Ava, before Liz had run away in her teens. Friends since they were children, and over the years after Liz had left the girls eventually drifted apart. Now Liz felt nothing but guilt over that, because she'd still always considered Ava a friend despite the distance. It was Liz who hadn't been a very good friend, because she'd been the one who left. So when Camelot had asked her to come in to see her, she hadn't hesitated. They hadn't got into very much detail, just the basics. The Resistance had captured Ava and essentially tortured her for two months. She needed someone to talk to her who knew her, so really, that was all Liz needed to hear in order to say yes. How could she not?
Before she knew it, she was being granted temporary access into the inside of Camelot Head Quarters and then escorted up to their medical wing, where she found Ava. A broken shell of the woman Liz used to know, hadn't talked to much in the last year, but when Ava looked up at her Liz was surprised to see that her friend actually recognized her.
Today marked Liz's third visit to Camelot, and they'd been sitting together for the last few hours, working on a jigsaw puzzle on the floor. Ava didn't talk much, but when she did Liz listened, and Liz tried to talk enough for the both of them. "We used to love these puzzles. Remember?"
