Adrian Wilder | Leo Wyatt ([info]orbme) wrote in [info]thereincarnates,
Adrian would surely be freaking out a lot less if he hadn't felt any attraction for Patrick in the first place. Knowing he did, knowing he had found him handsome from the first time he laid eyes on him, knowing there had always been a vague, almost imperceptible note of flirtation to their friendship was what made this so damn upsetting.

His eyes snapped open wide when he heard that name. "Leo?! How do you know about Leo?" he demanded, his head whipping to look at Patrick. Who was naked. He tore his gaze away again and started scanning the room for his clothes. His voice broke, he was so angry and upset. "Where the hell are my pants?" He bolted from the bed, covering himself as well as he could, and found their clothes in a puddle of fabric near the foot of the bed. This had really happened.

Adrian grabbed some of his clothes and ran past Patrick into the bathroom, where he promptly heaved up whatever was in his stomach. It wasn't disgust that made him throw up, it was being scared out of his wits that he'd lost control like this, and guilt. He was engaged, for Pete's sake! He was breathing harshly when he put on his pants and shirt, rinsed out his mouth and washed his face. His mouth was twisted unhappily when he emerged from the bathroom.

"I asked you before. How do you know about Leo?" His eyes grew suspicious, a suspicion born of guilt and denial and fear. "Did you put something in my drink?" he asked, ready to feel betrayed.
