Who. Veronica Thomas and Travis Undelman What. An 'innocent' vampire outing goes wrong. (No surprise there) Where. A densely wooded area of Central Park When. Late Friday night, January 6th 2012 Warnings. TBD. Definitely anything vampire related. So. Blood?
This was the second time Travis had somehow been able to turn into a vampire without actually dying. Which, at least in that respect, Veronica was grateful for. Travis was never dead. He was just... temporarily undead, however the fuck that worked. The first time had been a fluke, some kind of trigger set off after he'd put on a costume, and now, he'd just made a stupid wish and poof? No pulse and fangs again? Veronica still didn't understand it, but that didn't matter. The fact was, Travis suddenly turning into a vampire again met one thing. He was brand new at this, so he'd be hungry. And much more dangerous to himself and everything around him.
They'd been hunting all week. Just like the first time, Veronica had taken the time to help him re-learn the ropes. How to use a vampire's speed (which usually resulted in the two love birds chasing each other around all night for the fun of it), stealth and other keen senses to his advantage, how to properly throw his strength around and how to effectively catch a variety of woodland creatures in the dead of night when nobody else was around for food. Veronica was a hypocrite, considering how often she'd been going straight for the blood bags these days, but there was no way in hell she was risking Travis drinking human blood, from a bag or a body, and liking it. She'd already ruined his life enough, and yet he still wanted to become a vampire for her. Something else she still couldn't understand.
"Travis?" The red head's eyes narrowed into the growing darkness as she suddenly realized he was no longer by her side anymore and stopped in her tracks. Hadn't he been just a minute ago? "Travis this isn't funny!" She called out sharply, already feeling a sincere wave of irrational panic in her gut as she whipped around in the middle of a group of trees looking for him. "Where the hell did you go?! Ugh I swear, if you're about to jump out at me again I'll-"
