Who. Jake Webb and Julian Kingsley (plus an unfortunate NPC)
What. On the hunt
Where. A crowded club in Los Angeles, CA
When. Monday night, November 21st 2011
Warnings. Violence, strong language, adult content... These boys are the reasons we have a ratings system, people.
The bar was covered in people clamoring to get drunk, the dance floor so packed with bodies that it was impossible to stand still in the middle of a crowd. The music was so deafening that all you could feel was your own heart beat thudding in your chest, and you could barely even hear yourself think. Everything about this place was exactly what he loathed, but he hadn't come here for any of that. He'd come here for him.
Jake Webb weaved his way through the room, looking completely out of place in his standard blue jeans and black sweatshirt, though for once he was wearing it with the hood down. Most of the guys here looked like complete douches who'd just jumped out of an ad for the Gap, and all the women typically wore clothes much too small for them, but he could give a shit. And apparently, that hadn't stopped him from getting noticed. The amount of stares he'd been getting from women in the club might have been something he'd taken advantage of if he were into that sort of thing, but as it was he'd only ever had eyes for one person.
Still. That didn't mean he couldn't help catch the bait.
He knew the correct body language even if he didn't mean any of it, after all a real sociopath knew just how to play a part to perfection. As he took a casual lean against the end of the bar, his dark eyes flicked towards the dumb bitch in the red dress once before smiling down into the rim of his glass as he took a final gulp, and afterward promptly sliding it across the bar top as he waited to see if she'd come to him.
The lamb never fails to lead itself right into the wolf's mouth.
She began walking toward him with an air of confidence that he only pitied her for, and Jake smirked as he waited for the inevitable.
