Who. Riley O'Connell & Brady Kerrigan What. After checking in at Camelot post-rescue, Riley seeks out the Manly Marian Where. Number 12 Grimmauld Place. (Brady's bio-dad is Sirius Black? You can't write this shit, man) When. Backdated to late Saturday night, November 12th 2011 Warnings. ... Good question
Riley was beyond exhausted, but sleep just wasn't an option. Not yet. After managing to escape from the place they had been held in for over a month by those Resistance assholes, it had taken hours for the group of four escapees to find their way to an MTN. The facility they'd escaped from had been out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, they'd had to walk for miles before finding a main road and then trying to keep out of sight while finding their way to the nearest big city with an Agency. They hadn't spoken to anyone once they did, though they'd gotten more than a few stares as people took in the sight of them. Riley couldn't be bothered, she knew they all looked like shit but they had every right to be. You would look like shit too if you'd been kept in a cramped little prison cell for over a month and getting beaten and tortured every week. She didn't care. All she cared about was getting the hell home.
Wherever home was for her now.
Once they'd finally managed to hop an MTN to the UK and make it back to Camelot, Riley and her friends were barely standing, but they managed to walk inside Camelot headquarters only to find all the department heads gathered around a table discussing rescue mission strategies. Obviously unnecessary at that point, but it was the thought that counted. There was a lot of hugging and debriefing before her friends finally collapsed, but Riley barely gave the on-site medical examiner enough time to look her over before she was commandeering the nearest shower and then leaving again. At first she didn't know where she was going, she sort of just left without so much as a 'goodbye' to anyone in the castle. It wasn't like she had a home to go home to in such a rush. A house, yes, but with her father and brother both dead going back there was just too depressing. It was only when she finally found herself on Grimmauld street that she realized who she was going to see.
At the same time as her spirit's lifted a little when she came to a stop in between Number 11 and Number 13 she cursed to herself, realizing she had no way to actually get in (stupid wizard houses) before she remembered she'd thought to grab her phone before she left the HQ. Luckily it hadn't been lost when she'd been captured, she'd left it behind in the castle before they'd gone out to fight. Flipping her phone open, the first thing she saw was all the missed calls, voicemail notifications and texts that were all from Brady. Swallowing her guilt, she hit redial and put the phone to her ear, speaking hoarsely into it only when she heard Brady's voice on the other end. "Hey. Let me in?"
