Who. Liam Walker and Jimmy Walker Lannigan What. Jimmy pays Liam a long overdue (and also uninvited) visit Where. Liam's house in Las Vegas, Nevada When. Sunday evening, September 4th 2011 Warnings. TBD, but expect some tension
As far as bad weeks go Liam had definitely had worse, but the shock of finding his brother on the reincarnate boards of all places had still thrown him through a sufficient enough loop that he'd spent the remainder of last week in a slump. Even Grey Wind couldn't cheer him up, and Robb's direwolf had become something of an expert at being the only one to get a real smile out of Liam in the last two years. One of the reasons Liam had even come on the boards in the first place after all that time was because he'd finally come to terms with the fact that becoming a reincarnate meant that feeling of there something being missing was never going to go away. He'd already been dealing with that for most of his life on account of the way his childhood had gone and the ever growing rift between him and his older brother, and with Robb now that only made things ten times worse. The Stark was constantly missing his family and friends, so Liam had finally let go of a shred of his stubbornness in order to do something to make Robb happy. He'd been expecting to find some people that Robb knew on the boards. What he hadn't been expecting to find was his brother, also a person that Robb knew and not in a nice way.
He couldn't really account for the last few days other than being in a general state of drunken blur. Making a point to stay away from the boards entirely after that first awkward introduction and letting things thoroughly marinate, which just meant that with each day that passed he was in an even worse mood. It was bad enough that he had issues with Jimmy all on his own, but the fact that he was Jaime fucking Lannister meant a whole new fun bag of Robb's issues on top of his. "Just fucking great," Liam must have muttered to himself for the five thousandth time as he sat sprawled on his couch in the living room, beer in hand and only half glaring at the television.
Not exactly a sight you'd expect to find if you were looking in on the reincarnate of Robb Stark's life. But for all their similarities, Liam still had his own way of living and Robb had his. And since he had neither a fancy castle in Winterfell to live in nor a loving family to look to for support, he had to make do with what he had. Which regrettably wasn't that much after all these years, but at least he still had Grey Wind. As if to somehow prove this point he looked over at the direwolf currently curled up at his feet when there was a sound right outside the front door and Grey Wind practically leaped out of the room. Presumably to go ward off any trespassers, but Liam still frowned before calling out.
