Who. Sara Taft and Peter Flynn What. Peter and Sara find a flying ship and attempt to commandeer it Where. The Homelands When. Tuesday night, August 16 2011. During this thread Warnings. TBD?
Peter and Sara had gone on the trip with the other Camelot operatives to the Homelands, something Sara had been apprehensive about from the start. But if Peter was going? Sara was going. She and Will both weren't going to let them go at this themselves in case there was trouble. Especially if there was trouble. But from the minute they'd arrived in the Capital there hadn't seemed to be much of anything, so Charlotte had sent both her and Peter on an entirely different mission within the mission.
To find the Glory Of Baghdad.
What was the Glory of Baghdad? Upon hearing it Sara was positive it had to be some kind of weird medal or a commemorative cup of some sort. Something that Indiana Jones would try to steal for a museum. But no! It was, in fact, a flying ship. Keyword: flying. Sara was used to ships, though not of the flying sort, but how different could they be? As long as all the controls were the same, they could figure it out...
It didn't take them long to find it, thankfully. Charlotte had given them pretty detailed instructions of whereabouts they might find it and it just so happened to be in the first place suspected, the area where it had gone down in the book. Another stroke of good luck, when they reached it it wasn't still in burning pieces, it was completely in tact and sitting on the river bank.
"Pete! Ship, ho!" Sara called out excitedly and pointed over the tall grass to where she saw its huge body looming in the near distance.
