Who. Ashley Feinberg and Alex Templeton
What. What do these Scoobies do when the world is ending? They commiserate at the Bronze.
Where. The Bronze, Sunnydale
When. Thursday night, June 16th, 2011
Warnings. TBD?
In a world where everything was constantly changing, Sunnydale never did. Even with all the monsters and demons and vampires that came pouring in every day rampaging and wreaking havoc, the town of Sunnydale never so much as got a new stop light or put in another Starbucks. Not to mention the people never changed. A giant snake could attack and demolish the entirety of Sunnydale High School again and the next day people would still be trying to explain it away like it had just been some kind of publicity stunt. The only time Sunnydale had really changed and changed for good was when the entire town caved in and then that was it. Done. Over. Just a huge gaping hole in the Earth where their old lives used to be. But now it was back, it had reappeared out of nowhere months ago, completely in tact like nothing had ever happened. It had boggled the newest reincarnated Scooby Gang to no end but it'd also excited them. It was ironic, really. All that time Buffy, Xander and Willow had spent wanting to get away from the place, now Bobby, Alex and Ashley couldn't get enough of it. It was just something nice and familiar, to both them and their head mates. Something to fall back on when the world got crazy again.
The Bronze. It was exactly the same as it had always been down to the leather on the bar stools and that's what comforted Ashley and Willow the most. There was even a band playing, though Ashley didn't really care much for the music. It was some weird rock group trying to be Dingos Ate My Baby, but the lead singer was tone deaf and the drummer couldn't stay on beat to save his life. Ashley and Alex were sitting at their favorite table, their drinks momentarily abandoned next to them as they sat with their chins in their hands staring glumly up at the stage. It was when the lead singer actually took a dive off the stage into the small crowd of dancers that Ashley finally rolled her eyes, sat up straight and waved her hand in a very tell tale fashion.
In the next second the band was gone from the stage, they'd been transported to the bar sans their instruments where they were just ordering drinks and shoving each other's shoulders in that manly way that men do. Ashley waved her hand again and a dark haired women was suddenly on stage, singing her heart out into the microphone with a guitar attached to her hips. The very faint strains of a Michelle Branch song finally reached their ears as Ashley turned back to Alex and made a face. "What?! It doesn't count of they're not real people. They're like. Sunnydale clones or something, it's creepy..."
