Who: Fan Jiang and Brandon Ferris
When: Backdated to earlier in May
Where: Brandon's room
What: Jiang wants to become better acquainted with Tobias... oh yes, and the person whose head he inhabits.
Warnings: It's Jiang and Brandon... it probably can't get much tamer than this.
Though becoming acquainted with all of his fellow Animorphs had been wonderful, Jiang had found himself constantly distracted by that entirely annoying thing he had come to the United States for, in the first place - school. After all, his mother school wasn't going to forgive low grades just because he had found himself in the midst of a reunion with the friends of the alien living in his head. In fact, that would probably get him expelled entirely, if not locked up some place where he wouldn't be a detriment (or worse, an embarrassment) to society. Keeping his grades up had been a necessity, as little as he liked it and as much as he would have preferred to simply spend time being an Animorph.
It was May, though, and his return to China was drawing ever closer, and that meant if he were going to become closer to the other Animorphs he had to say make it a priority. He was passingly familiar with all of them, but there was one of the boys in particular that he felt he needed to truly befriend before he had to leave - regardless of the fact that he could come back to visit whenever he pleased, thanks to the MTN. It was more the principle of it, really, embracing the chances he'd been given before they were lost. Brandon might not see it the same way, but none of them had quite figured out that Jiang understood a lot more of what was being said in English than they thought he did and it was likely that he would simply be too polite to kick him out.
Of course, that pretense would also make it difficult to really get to know the young man who played host to Jiang's headmate's best friend. In truth, that was his greatest problem in the whole issue, and one he freely admitted he had brought upon himself. It would be easier by far to admit to the ruse, but it was simply entirely too much fun sometimes... and so thought speech was the obvious solution. That, of course, required morph, and that was why a Northern Harrier winged its way from Jiang's dorm room window to Brandon's, rather than a slender young Chinese man making the walk.
Perching on the window sill and hoping that no nature enthusiasts chose to make a fuss of his presence, Jiang called out, {Brandon, if you are here may I come in?} Perhaps he should have checked first, to make sure that he hadn't made the trip for nothing... that that morphing to hawk was ever something he regretted.
