Who: Jake Webb and Julian Kingsley with NPC! Alicia Webb
What: Jake and Julian tie up some loose ends.
Where: An abandoned amusement park in Northern California.
When: Backdated to Sunday night, May 15 2011 (I fail?)
Warnings: All the appropriate Jake and Julian warnings, and also a seriously belated character death? Whoops.
Much to Jake and Julian's sick amusement, the theme park that had been the victim of their very first meeting all those months ago was still closed down for major repairs. More than half the park had been damaged by a 'freak' fire that had exploded in nearly every major area of the park, and claimed the lives of more than an unfortunate few. That day had changed (and ended) a lot of lives, but no more then it had Jake and Julian's.
Especially Jake's. This is where Julian had opened Jake's eyes, where he'd really started living instead of just being content to walk through life in a hateful daze, taking no joy out of the destruction he caused. This is where it had all started for Jake, and now? This is where they were going to end Alicia's life. The only nuisance still holding them back.
Alicia's life ended brutally and abruptly. They saw no point in dragging it out. Usually they'd enjoy something as meaningful and down right twisted as this, but Alicia was a tie that needed to be severed and fast. Their mutual sense of urgency shown every time their victim caught a glimpse of the twisted grins on their faces before her world went black.
Jake had drugged her and dragged her to the park himself, and from there they had some fun. The unlikely trio was bathed in a smattering of dim red and blue silhouettes inside the fun house, one of the only structures not totaled in the fire. Julian had liked the music, he said as an excuse. Jake smiled fondly as he queued up the sound system and a compilation of haunting, cirque melodies began radiating through the room.
Alicia struggled and whimpered behind her gag, the rope cutting off the circulation to her wrists where she lay on the dirty, rotting floor. Julian had brought a knife, and they'd taken turns cutting into her skin, relishing in the way her eyes screamed instead of that god awful mouth that they had come to loath so much. Her and that useless ballerina she clung to so hard. The music of the fun house provided a near entrancing off beat to their rhythmic slicing.
"Think that'll about do it, babe," Jake heard Julian murmur behind him as Jake watched Alicia's eyes finally glaze over with an intensity behind his own. Finally. The last thorn in his side was gone. It was nothing personal, this was just who they were and he was just protecting what was his. What was never going to be hers. She'd been a fool to think she could own Julian. In the end, they'd both owned her. And now her life was theirs.
"No, I don't think so," Jake said through gritted teeth as he dropped the knife to the ground with a sharp clatter. Julian watched him with a burning intensity that rivaled his own, looking at Jake expectantly as Jake strode forward and pushed him into the wall. Lips and tongue met with unchecked ferocity, adrenaline already pumping through their veins as fingers began to tear at each other's clothing. They'd deal with the body later.
